Our featured vendor of the month is Lux Royale Nail Spa in Logan Square neighborhood in Chicago. We always recommend doing your nails before your boudoir session and I’m happy to recommend this nail spa. Like a hair stylist, having a good nail technician in crucial. Not just any nail spa can provide a good manicure and pedicure and excellent service. This is a small spa with two cousins as the only nail technicians. You will have an intimate and quite time at this spa with ladies that provide the best manicure and pedicure that I have had in my life. Xiomara, the owner, is very neat to clean the cuticle, the polish application is very clean and to the very edge of the cuticle area. I always hesitated to have my nails done because everywhere where I went I was never 100% satisfied with the results. There was a gap in the polish between my nail and the cuticle, a mess to clean around the nail staining my skin, the filing was not straight, I was rushed, etc. On top of that, I hate to be in a loud place with 10 other women talking around me. This little spa will have coffee and snacks for you and will accommodate your schedule as much as possible. Xiomara is the kind of business owner that invests in her own education to perfect her technique and learn new styles. She does acrylic, shellac, no chip and her designs are very original and a work or art. Here is a photo of my own nails done few days ago. I got the no-chip manicure and my toes have Shellac polish that will last for months!
