I woke up sore from yesterday’s workout and fell asleep again after I shut the alarm. Not a good start for day one. I got out of bed at 6 a.m. and went straight to the kitchen and made steel-cut oats with strawberries, blueberries, and cinnamon for breakfast. I also had a large 20 oz mug of green tea with no sugar for the day and prepared two fish fillets with lemon pepper seasoning. I steamed the broccoli in the fish juice and sprinkled on Trader Joe’s seasoning. At 10 a.m. I was practically falling asleep. I ran out of my Amino Energy Drink that I use to work out — it has 100 mg of caffeine per serving and lots of vitamins. At noon I went to GNC to buy a supply of Amino Energy and also picked up a box of peanut butter Oh Yea! protein bars. I had one at 11 a.m. that is still keeping me going. I have to hit the gym in the evening: No excuses for the next 10 days.
I finished a killer work out and I feel a little weak. I drastically reduced my calorie intake today and I feel the effect. I ate a fish fillet and some broccoli before the work out but now it’s gone. I’ll have some more as soon as I feel recovered. I keep going to the bathroom a lot from all the water I’m drinking. I’m definitely eliminating a lot of water retention. Here is a picture after my work out on day one. Let’s see how much I can trim down that waist!
